Arabidopsis is a plant being used by labs offering undergraduates summer internships in plant Genomics10 week paid summer internships are available for visiting undergraduate students , secondary science teachers , and faculty at primarily undergraduate-serving colleges and universities. The goal of the program is to provide mentored research experiences in plant genomics and build relationships in the greater scientific community for visiting participants and the whole project team.

Trichome biology is a focus for  labs offering summer internships in plant GenomicsPlant Genomics Researchers at Michigan State University collaborate on a summer training program for students enrolled in undergraduate studies in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering and computational sciences. The ten week program is designed to give students experience in the theory and practice of genomics and includes a wide variety of projects and participating laboratories. While the main emphasis is on gaining laboratory experience, the ten week program includes informal lectures from faculty and social activities.

Tomato is a plant being used by labs offering summer internships in plant GenomicsWelcome 2009 Participants!

14 junior and senior students from 8 colleges and universities began their summer research on Tuesday May 26th and will participate until July 31. This is the the fourth year of the program.
